Career Services

A top-ranked Career Services office and the largest on-campus career fairs east of the Mississippi give Penn State students access to internships and jobs.

Success starts here.

Penn State's reputation as a top spot for corporate recruiters to find talent is a result of the impact generations of Penn Staters have made throughout their careers.

A quick look at recipients of the University's Distinguished Alumni Award, Alumni Achievement Award, and Alumni Fellow Award reveals the many ways in which Penn Staters are leaving their mark on business, industry, social services, academia, and government.

That success begins with a high-quality education. And education includes access to resources. At Penn State, one of those resources is Penn State Career Services.

Penn State Career Services, consistently ranked as one of the top offices at any university in the country, helps get students ready to step into the workplace and contribute right from the start. From hosting one of the largest career fairs east of the Mississippi each fall to providing individual consultation, Penn State Career Services has student support as its top job.

Penn State Career Services offers:

  • Events including career fairs, workshops, and networking
  • Career counseling
  • Resume and cover letter reviews
  • Mock interviews
  • Graduate and professional school preparation

And, as you search your career options, remember that each of our academic colleges at University Park also provides program-specific career resources for their students.

No secrets. Just more than 150 years of success.
