Penn State News Release

How would the 1+3 Program affect my financial aid?

You will see some changes to your financial aid offer if you decide to take part in the 1+3 Program. If you're living on campus, your updated financial aid offer will include the 1+3 tuition grant and housing grant. That tuition grant will show up as a $5,000 tuition grant for fall semester and $5,000 tuition grant spring semester.

Once you’ve registered for the 1+3 Program, we’ll work to get you an updated financial aid offer. You’ll receive notification via email when your new offer is ready for review on the Financial Aid tab of your MyPennState account.

Once you’ve reviewed your updated offer, please feel free to contact your new starting campus with any questions you may have. If you decide you no longer want to participate in the 1+3 Program and would like to start at the University Park campus, you must contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office by June 12.
