Students in Environmental Science use the fields of earth science, biology, and chemistry to examine the interface between earth and its human inhabitants. In the Environmental Science program, you’ll have the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience, for example, integrating geographic information systems and global positioning systems in environmental research, collaborating with faculty to pursue original undergraduate research, or conducting field research along the Great Lakes.
