Penn State New Kensington

Penn State New Kensington has seventy-two wooded acres in Upper Burrell Township in Westmoreland County, including a multi-purpose conference center, the 350-seat Forum Theatre, the 600-seat Field House, an art gallery, and a nature trail.

At Penn State New Kensington students have the opportunity to experience the best of both worlds, an intimate campus setting and all the resources of a major research university. The campus provides a beautiful setting for our modern facilities yet the faster pace of Pittsburgh's city life is just a short drive away and campus is in easy commuting distance from almost anywhere in Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Indiana, and Westomoreland counties.

There are about 880 students on campus, many who live in privately-owned off-campus housing.
